Tech Help - Signing Electronically

We are living in a new age. When I first started in this business, faxes were the standard mode of electronic communication, email was just coming into its own, and the palm pilot was the pinnacle of mobile computing. An iPhone was just a spark in Steve Job’s imagination. The idea of preparing a document on a computer, sending it someone’s telephone, having them sign it digitally (on their phone), and transmitting the signed document to the appropriate places was a dream… and some dreams come true.

Today we routinely sign documents using an electronic signing application called DocuSign. In fact, with the pandemic restrictions, DocuSigning is becoming the norm. It is a simple process that can be completed on your smart phone, tablet or computer. Below is a video that reviews the signing process.

One important thing to note, if you find anything that is incorrect on a form, do not sign the form. Close out the application/signing process and contact us. We will correct the form and resend it for signing. It is easier to correct the form before signing rather than after it has been signed and is being processed.

For more information and a great video on the signing process visit DocuSign’s - “How do I sign a DocuSign document?” page using the button below.

Please note this link will take you directly to DocuSign’s website. Retirement Collaborative LLC is not responsible for advertising or content on their site.

If you have questions regarding the signing process, please contact us. If there is any other tech topics you would like us to cover, let us know.

Thanks!
